Holy Week, the most important week in the Church's calendar, begins on Palm Sunday (20 March). Mass and the Blessing of Palms will be celebrated at Ampleforth Abbey at 10.00 a.m.
The Easter Triduum begins on Holy Thursday with Mass of the Lord's Supper in the Abbey Church at 8.30 p.m., followed by Watching at the Altar of Repose in the Crypt. The Gospel of the Arrest brings the Watching to an end at 11.50 p.m.
The Liturgy of the Passion on Good Friday is at 3.00 p.m.
On Holy Saturday, those attending the Easter Vigil are asked to assemble in the Main Hall at 8.45 p.m. The Easter Vigil will begin at 9.00 p.m.
Pontifical High Mass on Easter Sunday will be celebrated in the Abbey Church at 10.30 a.m.
On Easter Monday, Mass will be celebrated in the Abbey Church at 8.45 a.m.
From Easter Tuesday to Easter Saturday, Mass will be at the later time of 9.45 a.m.
