Running for charity
Congratulations to Hamish Adams-Cairns (H) who ran the London Marathon in in a time of 3 hrs and 33 minutes. He was running in aid of CHASE, a charity which provides Hospice Care for Children. To date he has raised approximately £9,000 for this worthy cause.
Three former members of St Hugh's also completed the marathon this year. Alex Dumbell (H07) ran in aid of SHELTER, Angus Marsden (H05) ran in aid of Breakthrough for Breast Cancer and Edward Sandeman (H05) ran for the NSPCC.
All four runners were generously supported by a host of former students, parents and friends of Ampleforth.
